COVID-19 Update – March 13, 2020

March 13, 2020 — On behalf of our 1,000 employees who get up every morning and go to work intent on delivering great service, thank you for trusting us with your business over the last seven decades.

Like most of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19), how it impacts our communities, and how we can do our part to prevent the continued spread of the virus. We are guided in this effort by a foundational principle — keeping our customers, suppliers and employees safe.

We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s guidelines and recommendations. We have previously implemented guidelines and policies for our employees on the necessity of washing hands regularly, staying home if they are sick and overall personal and plant cleanliness. We have expanded cost-free healthcare options, limited travel and attendance at large group meetings, and increased the availability of hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies. We are communicating regularly with our team on these and other measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

Additionally, we’ve reached out to our supply base to ensure continuity of our supply chain which, as of today, faces no business disruption.

This situation is changing rapidly, and we will continue to monitor and make changes as necessary to protect you and our employees. Pioneer is well positioned economically to withstand the fluctuations and anticipated changes to the manufacturing landscape.

Thank you, again, for your continued business.

Sincerely,

Kevin Stevick
CEO
