![]() Passivating on Stainless Steel
Maximize your corrosion protection and clean the surface of your stainless steel parts by utilizing Pioneer Metal Finishing's passivation process. During operations such as forming, machining, tumbling and lapping, iron particles or other foreign matter may become imbedded into the surface of stainless steel. Without passivating these particles will appear as rust or stains. Pioneer uses an aggressive passivate process, which dissolves the contamination and forms a thin, transparent passive film over the clean surface. |
