ARP - Acid Etch

ARP-Acid Etch is used for processing high silicon aluminum castings resulting in a leveled, fine grained, activated surface for subsequent chemical treatments.

Typical Acid Etch Process

  • Alkaline clean (if excessive soil or machining oil present)
  • ARP-Acid Etch
  • Hot deionized water rinse
